The English Department at RMGS is a large one with nine full time teachers, all of whom are graduate subject specialists. There is a wealth of experience in the Department and as a team we work hard to provide teaching that is enjoyable and stimulating.
The Department is well resourced. Five of the six main teaching rooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards and all teachers have access to televisions, video and DVD players. One of the main teaching room serves as both a teaching room and an ICT suite, having a bank of thirty computers which can be booked for classes by any member of the English department.
Pride is taken in the English block and the display banks in the corridors are regularly updated with examples of students’ work, competitions and details of recent department activities.
