The Science Department is based in two buildings (the M and Q blocks) and consists of 9 fully equipped laboratories three of which were recently refurbished. All of the laboratories are fitted with the latest interactive whiteboards and a great emphasis is placed on the use of ICT within the department. We also have a large number of laptops for student use and the students are encouraged to use the Internet for research. The teaching of science is by 12 teachers including the Head teacher and one of the Deputy Heads.
