Rainham Mark is a healthy school and gained Healthy Schools Status in 2006. See Healthy Schools Status page.
The school cares about:
• the health of our students and staff
• the food we eat
• the exercise we get
• the well-being of the students and staff
The school has a Healthy Schools Committee which meets at least 3 times a year at school to discuss any issues relating to the health of students and staff. This committee is made up of students; parents; support staff; teaching staff; senior management; governors and our school nurse. The students are from our School Council who represent the student body.
Minutes from previous meetings can be viewed below.
This committee is always seeking new members. If you are interested in coming along to one of our meetings or can help improve the health of our school community in any other way please contact Julie Boughton at the school by email (bougj003@medway.org.uk) or phone.
