Dear Parents
I am sure that parents would like to join me in thanking three teaching colleagues who leave the school at the end of term for all their work for RMGS; Dr Andrew Akehurst is retiring after a long and successful career with the school over 33 years, including a very successful spell as Head of Sixth Form. Mr Matthew Worrell has guided the Science department through much change over the last four years and Ms Carly Neate has made an outstanding impact within Mathematics in a relatively short time. All will be greatly missed.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all parents and friends of the school a "Merry Christmas" and a "Happy New Year" and thank you all for your continued support. We look forward to welcoming students back after the holidays on Monday 4 January 2010.
